Restaurant Manager
8one8 Brewing, a thriving family-owned and operated craft brewery established in 2014, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our management team of our new Restaurant concept located next to the brewery in Canoga Park, CA. We have grown from a small home brewing operation to a successful 10bbl brewhouse with our own canning line and a bustling tasting room. We are looking for a motivated, hardworking, and team-oriented individual who shares our passion for great beer and exceptional customer service and now great eats for the local neighborhood.
Responsibilities:
Manage front-of-house and back-of-house operations, ensuring efficient and friendly service and quality food output.
Recruit, train, and engage the team.
Maintain exceptional standards for food and beverage, service, and sanitation.
Contribute to financial success by assisting with reporting and achieving financial goals.
Collect and analyze guest data to enhance customer experience and loyalty.
Direct the cultural compass of the restaurant, fostering energy, service, and hospitality and in collaboration with the tasting room.
Uphold the company's commitment to quality, safety, ethics, and continuous innovation.
Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Minimum 3 years of experience as a manager in the restaurant industry.
Proficiency in basic computer applications and POS systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
Excellent guest service and hospitality skills with a professional demeanor.
Ability to lead and motivate employees to work as a team and maintain high service standards.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with safety standards and protocols.
Knowledge and implementation of ServSafe standards.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
Standing for extended periods and performing repetitive motions.

Exposure to hazards such as cuts, slips, falls, burns, and varying temperatures.
